RibaudGrand Ribaud Ribaud and two islands between Porquerolles and Giens  Grand Ribaud | A la pointe sud-ouest de l'�le, propri�t� de l'�tat, est compos�e d'un phare, d'une batterie c�ti�re et de deux d�barcad�res dont un d�truit. A la pointe Sud-Est se trouve aussi une ancienne batterie perdue dans la v�g�tation. En 1880 la batterie �tait compos�e de deux canons ray�s de calibre 30. Le premier phare a �t� d�truit pendant la derni�re guerre et fut reconstruit en 1953 � c�t� des ruines du premier.

In 1880, its armament consisted of 30 gauge rifled cannon, supplied each of 156 shots, including 6 with grapeshot. 14 men served this stronghold. |
